Who makes them? I thought NCR was the chemistry of the battery?

Pretty much all high end 18650 batteries are made by NCR and have another brand stamped on them after. They make everyone else's batteries. Two factories, one near Kuala Lumpur, Indonesia; the other south Japan. Think Samsung makes their own batteries, but almost every other top notch brand gets theirs from NCR. NCR is the big daddy in the high quality, smart Li Ion game. Did I write NCR enough?

+1 on the 18650's with a thrunite mcc-4. Have a couple of nite cores for my vape as well. Vaping keeps me pretty well stocked on 18650s. As usual a bunch of aaa and aa thrown in there as well with a 9v in each bag. Garage has a bunch of deep cycle batteries for my boat and trailer with a solar panel for charging on the fly.

I don't think this is true, NCR as I understand it is a designation for a chemistry used by Panasonic. That being said, many companies have bought Panasonic NCR batteris and have re-wrapped them as a different brand of battery...

If you have information to the contrary please share, I love to learn.

Tmart.com did a great job shipping these batteries quickly from a US location and they were packed well. Very good value...

Solar is not enough. There's days without sun, there's not wanting enemies to see your charger units, and there's use that requires charging at night. So I also have a Biolite stove. It burns bark and small wood to recharge batteries and give a bit of heat and light.
