Esbit duel fuel cook set-first thoughts

    Its a good set. Been using it for the past five years. Mine is an older model with the bigger pot up to 800ml. However, lately, I have not been using the alcohol stove, but a very lightweight gas stove with an adapter that allows me to use the cheaper butane in the aerosol can (like those spray cans). Its lighter and a can of butane can last for about a week.

    Nice cook set. Seems very resistant and the cup comes with the measurements. This color is ideal.

    Nope....i cannot find denatured alcohol here...and if i choose alcohol that used for medical reasons the 250ml costs 30€,which is a lot of money for fuel burner.The gel fuel cost me 2€ and i bought two packets of Esbit fuel tablets(12 tablets total) for 10€...it will get the job done.

    We don't have HEET in Malaysia, so I ended up using denatured alcohol.
